Liberian Refugee Crisis and Repatriation

In Accra, in Buduburam area, there is still nearly 5000 Liberian Refugees who were abandoned and forgotten by authorities of Ghana and Liberia, even by United Nation in charge of refugees.

This group of people are estimated to about 5,000 and the living conditions are degrading. Finding food and water are difficult at best. There is no water provided free of charge, no bathrooms free of charge, no power, and no food. In their quest of survival, one outstanding Liberian, a teacher and family man joined a global humanitarian organization with hopes to meet someone that could help change their lives. Through that foresight act of bravery, and through this group, Matthew Davis introduced himself to Robert ZHeart. Robert listened to Matthew's story over the last 16 months they have worked together to makes some great things happen. That is how ZHeart Global has been involved.

During 2023, all 5,000 refugees have been assisted by the humanitarian actions of ZHeart Global, powered by Robert, the founder: Lots of foods items have been provided.. In addition, Moringa powder has been sent from Moshi, Tanzania. Zheart Global has been working in Moshi, Tanzania as its home base providing Moringa Relief locally and for crisis situations supporting refugees and orphans through out Africa. ZHeart Global believes in the virtues of Moringa and has shown it through their actions.

The major project of repatriating all of those Liberians who want to return to Liberia will take some time and require some additional resources. Our current Massa was the first to come back to Liberia in May. For the 2 weeks her father Matthew has found the family a home, had it cleaned up, and is now preparing things for the big move of the rest of the family on February 1st. They Any donations in support of the Davis family transition will be very much appreciated. We invite individualss, non-profits and corporations to step up and help fund this process to free these 5000 refugees as soon as possible.(31/01/2024)

As from February 27th, 2024 , the local authorities of Buduburam area in Accra Ghana, have started the demolition of the refugee camp which caused a serious chaos leaving all the refugees homeless. The Ghanaian government hands off from this crisis saying the it does not have authority to stop the local chiefs , therefore can not do anything.

But at the other hand , the Liberian government frowns at the dislodgment and calls on the Ghanaian government to protect the refugees as they’re still on its soil.

From there the Liberian government made the big move by registering its citizens on ground and scheduling a plan for their repatriation. So from May 2nd 2024, the country the Liberian government has been conveying its citizens from Buduburam to various location in Liberia and camping them in areas like Johnsonville center and Barga center.

ZHeart Global, through Matthew Care, is already present in the returnees centers providing drinkable water to the people pending a take off of its Educational and Agricultural projects, Which will keep them busy and their children educated.

Your generosity is very much appreciated. Thank you for caring!!!

Let's meet the Davis Family. They are the first family moving back home to Liberia from being refugees in Ghana. Zheart Global has had the honor to support this miracle.
